I disabled all the other add-on to check who is the guilty one, and apparently Reminder Fox is the one this tome.
In Nightly 30.0a1 the history menu is thin instead of showing full size.
And I have a suggestion about that ribbon you restored movement to: add option to move it to the new menu.

Long time user. Loved it until latest update. I used to have the icon plus text in my menu bar at the top of Firefox. Now it moved to status bar which I already have crowded and I see no way of removing it from there I had to set text length to "0" (unchecking box under options doesn't work). I can put the icon in my menu bar but without text. Thanks to these horrible changes I already missed couple of reminders.
Sorry about that! Please try this update; it should hopefully fix that issue with the toolbar/status bar icons not being able to be moved.

Reminderfox was my favorite add-on until this update came along.Either I am too stoopid or there is something wrong with Reminderfox because I cannot transfer to other computers.Now I am back to pencil and paper. sigh Seems like 2.1.4.2 worked for me. Thanks again. All 3 computers are in sync.

But it's biggest issue is that every update it forces my Firefox add-on bar to reappear. The add-on bar is one of the worst features about Firefox so I dont know why you feel the need to force it back on all the time. A bug perhaps? Either way I'm seeing less use of this add on lately

When a reminder is opened in a custom List, the custom list it is assigned to does not persist. It goes back to the 1st list. Please fix this as it makes editing reminders difficult as the List assignment changes without the user changing it.

I used to use this addon often. But ever since it updated itself to 2.1.4 I cannot get rid of the new icon they put in the main bar of the browser (which messes up my theme's structure and adds an unwanted, empty bar). I used the bow icon in the status bar without issues for years. The really frustrating thing is that there is a setting in the options for ReminderFox to disable this main-bar icon, yet this setting doesn't "stick," and it resets to displaying the icon regardless of how you set it, or how often you manually remove it under the FF "Customize..." menu. Tried reverting to an older version that suited my needs, but it insists on updating itself with every browser restart. I've disabled the addon until this is fixed.
The settings/options/preferences of an addon, once changed by the user, should stay that way.

Flexible and usable reminder system. Does what it says on the box. Quick reminders, external calendars, everything you could want.

As the title says, the latest version is a disaster. I used to love ReminderFox, but I'm seriously considering uninstalling it, as it has become bloated and invasive.

ReminderFox is running under the latest Thunderbird for Windows and the update is a disaster!
The icon is now missing from the status bar.
Every 5-10 minutes, Thunderbird freezes. The problem goes away when I disable ReminderFox.
5 stars when the bugs are swatted. It's unusable now.

Could you please test the freaking updates before going live with them ?
LE: Most of the sssues were quickly fixed (I still cant remove "Add/Subscribe with Reminderfox" from the contextual menu).
(Tom, people could help with testing before you go live with updates, I'm sorry if I was a bit harsh but I used this add-on for a long time and it was really frustrating to see this happening.)

Since version 2.1.4, i have the ReminderFox Icon on the main menu bar and i can't disable this .
I have unchecked "Main Menubar" into "Access Reminderfox on Firefox" but it doesnt work.
How can i disable this option please ( i use the Icon in addon-bar )?

I'd say this was a 5 before today's update. I can't immediately see everything I need to do since it isn't at the end of my menu bar anymore. I don't care for this change at all. This makes it no different from any other alarmed reminder in that I have to go find my stuff instead of it being right there. I often forget to go find my to-dos. The status bar takes too much screen space for me to use.

The latest update actually makes it worse. Changed settings won't save. Lose the option to put the text anywhere else than the add-on bar. functions still good, but such a pain when the interface changes so much.

So if this don't work with anything and you still have to click a button to open it up what is the use of this? It don't send you reminders and it isn't integrated with google calendar I don't get this app at all.
