Hello,
used to use SmartTemplate4 and ReFwdFormatter. With ReplyWithHeader addon, I do not need to use those two.
Hello juky0 - Thank you for your review.

There is an issue: when I reply/forward an email, the replied/forwarded content is plain text and not same format of original mail. This is a bad bad think. I think I'll go back to SmartTemplate4.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Hello Andrea - Thanks for reporting an issue. I have responded on Disqus comment too. Let's sync up on Github for the follow up.
After that you can update the review.

UPDATE:
More Info: https://github.com/jeevatkm/ReplyWithHeaderMozilla/issues/29
I did an screen share session with user and findings are:
- It seems Thunderbird unable to determine the email type properly for some emails.
- It could be related to sender email client or mail server or thunderbird itself
RWH add-on gets the email information from thunderbird and acts upon it.
So RWH add-on is working fine.

It works fine."Smart Template4" may be more powerful, but I found it also has unwanted side effects.

This add-on is just right for my needs. Easy to configure, has the right options, and it seems to work well. My one suggestion would be to add an option for ISO format dates (yyyy-MM-dd, but using localized time).
PS: Switching from SmartTemplate 4, which is a great add-on, but messes around with the HTML of the email too much for my taste.
Thank you @Lawrence Dol.
Could you please put your suggestion here https://github.com/jeevatkm/ReplyWithHeaderMozilla/issues, I will work on date format during a next release.

For me, it only works on Forwarding messages, even then, Fwd is not converted to FW, and on replies does not work at all
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).Hello Grey Sephiroth -
Thanks for comment. Let me answer one by one:
* I'm using it personally and many users are using it. Currently RWH doesn't work on Thunderbird 52.*, which is already shown on Mozilla about non-compability. I'm working on it, v1.5 will have support. I strongly encourage to open an issue on Github (Goto Add-on preferences -> About Tab -> Report Issue)
* "Fwd is not converted to FW" - Have you checked the checkbox on Misc Tab for this feature to work?
Please create an issue with details which can help me find an issue and fix. I hope after the fix you will revisit to this comment and provide full star :) (look forward to it)

Jeeva

This is really great add-on - it could be used as an replacement of "Smart Template4 + ReFwdFormater" I used to get "Outlook" like look.
Thanks

works great; my client is pretty happy. it would be nice if there were an option to change the color/density of the 'thin blue line'.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).Hello ndanieley - latest version of RWH add-on has controls of line color and density. Could you please try out and update your review with stars?

This addon works like a charm, thank you for it!
On the other hand, and no offence meant(!): this addon shouldn't be necessary in the first place, but unfortunately there are too many people that seem to suffer agonies as soon as they look at mails that were not generated by Outlook. ;)
Thanks for your comment from end-user perspective.

I tried this out, seems to work most of the time but some emails it fails to work; I just get the standard thunderbird reply format but without the standard thunderbird reply header. I haven't yet figured out why it fails on some messages.
