I really love this theme (visually), but it breaks the Tree Style Tab extension. The tabs on the left side of the browser window are always icon-size. Please fix this - currently (for me) this theme is broken. :-(

Yes, AshleyJ's suggested fix does not work for Firefox 18. Please update!

I found this theme when "GrayModern2" died (R.I.P.)
which I find to be a completely acceptable substitute.
I am unsure why the Mozilla team insists on ugly for the default,
and most developers create themes which distract.


The only thing preventing me from contributing
is the delay on updates between FireFox releases;
that being said,
if more of us contributed,
possibly the developer would be more timely...

FYI: AshleyJ's suggestion does not apply to FF18 or the version of Silvermel identified in the post.

Which may also be contributing to the delay by the developer,
updating to a stable version release may be a bit more effort in this instance.

Nonetheless,

Great theme - I've used it for ages.
For a FF18 fix Google for Silvermel and go to the developers site. Right-click on the Download button and then 'save as'.
Navigate to the downloaded silvermel_bundle_1.5.4.xpi file and change the extension to .zip
Open with WinZip or WinRar but do not extract. Double click the install.rdf file which will then open in Notepad. Edit the lines
<em:maxVersion>17.*</em:maxVersion>
and change the 17 to something like 20. Save the file and close Winzip/Winrar saying yes when prompted to update the file.
Rename the archive back to .xpi and install to Firefox.
You can now update to FF version 18.

Silvermel 1.5.4 doesn't works fine with TB 17.
You can't move the window but all services are ok.

I love this theme but, with Firefox 17, the minimize + maximize + close buttons normally found in the title bar have disappeared! Not a huge deal but an annoyance. Please fix it.
