Rats! it doesn't work with the current release, how dissappointing. And if it's in the sandbox now why not?

This is a great plugin and I feel is a must have if you're coming from Outlook Express. I recently started playing around with an LDAP server and noticed with the current version of this plugin that the contacts are not always auto-populated when creating a new message. The changelog hints at this being corrected but I am not seeing it. Any thoughts?

Если в последствии Вы сумеете добавить такие опции как "Просмотр карточки", которая открывала бы карточку в адресной книге, и возможность добавления фото контакта, то было бы просто замечательно!

I get...
"Not compatible with Thunderbird 2.0.0.16" with only the option to uninstall, no matter how many times I restart Thunderbird.
It tries to install each restart, but can't.
Got the latest add-on version.
Any help with what I am doing wrong appreciated.

vCard format use different codepage with MS Address book (which use Outlook Express).
OE can't import vCard with Russian language (Import is posible, but with broken codepage).

Contacts Sidebar is one of my two favorite TB add-ons. Only wish the developer would add support for TB 3.0a2pre.

Excellent add-on. One suggestion I'd like to make.
I use Gmail and their contact list can hide contacts a user may not want to see. In Thunderbird, many of my contacts are from newsletters that have to appear in the list so they are not treated as spam. I'd like to have the option to hide those types of contacts.
If this could be included in a future release, that would be great.

I really like this component. It should automatically come with the system. The only area I would like to see changed is when you double click the name that it would open the properties box.
Right now it opens to send an email.
Thanks for a great enhancement.

Thankfully, provides a workaround for sending bcc to large numbers of people at once. The "Add to bcc" Add-on doesn't work on TBird 2.0.

should be a standard feature

I just had to forward some contacts by email to someone using Outlook 2003.
Seemed to work great.

I was looking for a drag-n-drop solution to add multiple addresses as bcc. It's not obvious how to do this in the TB2 Address Book. This add-on makes it a snap.

Beats the pop up address books and can create and add people to half started emails by right clicking their name! Worked on XP, Vista, and nopw even Ubuntu!

This Add-On for Thunderbird 2 is great. Just what it needed. Worked correctly first time and ever since. Works fine in Vista.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
