This addon works extremely well for forums with non-clickable links in posts. I use it on the WoW forums specifically (have to set it to thorough mode). You can set it to work just in one domain so that it doesn't slow down rendering everywhere else. Yes, it will slow down rendering when it is active.

This addon is a good idea, but it slows down browser rendering speed by about 50%. Don't believe me? check for yourself - load the following page with this addon enabled and then with it disabled: http://scragz.com/archived/mozilla/test-rendering-time

extremely useful extension, but i've noticed only texts like www.something.com or http://something.com are linkified.
Is there any way it would also linkify texts like:
something.com
something.org
something.xxx
etc. ??
Maybe i just don't know how to use its advanced options? Please help.

Note: If links are truncated in the middle, it is because there are tags in the link. You will have to enable this thorough mode:
Tools > Add-ons > Linkification > Options > General > Thorough Mode (needs to be checked)

Worked perfect, added this after the "Text Link" addon stopped working with the latest update

I am curious if it is possible to support links that just have .com written like,
google.com
yahoo.com
etc.
Is this possible?

User Maskatron says this add-on screws up layout of all comment pages on Digg.com.
This is only when used on Thorough Mode. Also a warning against using Thorough Mode: when you have lots of tabs open the CPU utilization can go up to 50% and more.
It already warns about longer page loads but there should be a warning about higher CPU utilization (and therefore higher electricity costs in the long run).

Looks like some people don't know how to use / set the options for this add-on...
It works 100%... IF you set it up correctly.
I've been using it for a long time and I highly recommend it.

Great in theory but it doesn't deliver. Most links only contain 1/2 of the URL so the links don't work when you click on them.

Someone else pointed this out but this add-on doesn't work on the World of Warcraft forums, only "links" half of the url addrss.

Doesn't seem to work at all on the World of Warcraft forums. Links seem to be broken into two separate inks, neither complete.
