Same thing here : Fedora 33, Thunderbird 78.3.1, TBSync 2.18, can't find de TBSync options to configure it ... Any suggestions ?
EDIT : My bad, didn't read the 3rd screeshot "How to open the TBSync account manager" carefully enough : it was in the bottom-right corner of thunderbird.
Sorry, and thanks again for the good work !

EDIT ref. GOOGLE Calendar Invitations
System : Windows 10 64bit
TB 78.3.3 (32 bit)
TBSYNC version 2.18
Prov CalDAV / CardDav version 1.21
Provider for EAS Version 1.20
multiple GOOGLE accounts synced for addressbooks + calendar(s)
All of a sudden INVITING PEOPLE to a calendar appointment in Thunderbird now seems to work fine.
In my 1st google account i went to the calendar view, right-clicked my main calendar and checkt the assigned eMail address which i set to that of the google account.
On my 2nd google calendar with a different google account (one that i share with a friend) i was not able to set the assigned email address because i did not configure this account for email.
Still --- invitations work and they are sent SERVER SIDE (aparantly from google).
Seems that this whole imvitation thing is mainly a google ApI / server side config twiggle but i hope it will run reliably in long turn.
so just for info ... though i did not change anything, invitations now work :-)
greetings from Vienna, from Roland Schweiger :)

This is the best solution to sync contacts and calendars between TB and Google after several addons do no longer work.
It is funny, that it works with TB 78-3.2/Windows 10 bot not with TB 78-3.2/Linux - it is not compatibel and cannot be installed..

Breaks when thunderbird gets updated from 68 to 78. Entering calender entries no longer works (google, exchange, nextcloud calendars are all affected)
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.16).Thanks. I removed that version.

First time testing this addon but I can't find the menu to open it :-( Maybe it's because I'm using Thunderbird 80?

This, and its partner add-on Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV, worked first time with a simple to use Graphic User Interface. The only wrinkle appears to be caused by Apple ceasing CalDAV support for their Reminders iPhone app but unchecking that box fixed things and calendar event alerts do sync in any case. Worth the donation.

TbSync enables me to sync contacts and calendars from my own server over WebCAL/WebDAV, which makes Thunderbird one of the few mail clients, that supports this feature. Works flawlessly even after upgrading to TB 78.3.

after installation I tried to login with Google but that doesn´t work. Serverprofile: Google > Tbsync account requests authorisation > fill in gmail address > nothing.

Just upgraded to TB 78.2.2 and Tbsync 2.16 and Tbsync does not show up in the Add-on Options menu. Am I missing something?

This module work very well. Wrong point is that is not possible to keep contact list with gmail, list disapear after sync...
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.16).Yep, google did not implement the full CardDAV API. I tried to reach out to them. They do not care.

Funciona correctamente la sincronización de contactos y calendarios de Google con la versión 78 de Thunderbird. No importa las categorías de Contactos aunque sugieren otro complemento para este tema que aún no funciona para la versión 78.

TBSync in TBvs78 works great with MSExchange account, but having major issues with Google account.
1. Contact variable names are string of letters (eg "_DAV4TBSYNCMSG-abCard.PrefixName") rather than usual names, I cant add telephones or emails addresses and contacts added in TB3 arent synced to primary google account.
2. Calendar works fine initially but when I exit and reopen TB3 the calendar is disabled, and I have to unsubscribe and resubscribe each time. (I use 2 factor password - is that an issue)
Known issue and already reported on the developer page.

Please make Provider for Google Calendar work in 78, I don't need TWO calendars and I prefer Lightning.
