It works fine, but I have a problem with text codification, on function IETconvertToUTF8. I changed the code to the earlier version and works fine. Please check that function.
It is a very a powerful tool. Congratulations.

Always surprised Thunderbird has no built-in backup service. This add-on does a good job although it has had me scratching my head at times. I feel it could do with some simple to understand instructions on how to do various tasks. I think I am fairly tech-savvy but have had trouble understanding how to make it do what I wanted it to do. the two task I want it to do are 1. Backup all my email profiles, addresses, settings passwords etc. 2. Backup my actual emails incrementally, so should I crash my operating system and need to reinstall then I can get all my accounts and emails back without much aggro. But overall this add-on is indispensable to me glad to see it has updated. Thank you.

Bonjour,
Thanks !

Hello,
I am trying to import tens of thousands of eml files & I am using this tool. For some reason when I try to import a folder of eml files it only imports some of them. I checked it out & it's not because the other files are corrupted - they can imported one at a time. I looked at the config options & nothing. Any help please?
Best Regards,
T

We rely on this very good extension to access archives of our past employees' emails--unfortunately since it's not compatible with the new Thunderbird we've been unable to use it. I've tried using the new beta (the 10th version) but when I attempt to import the mbox, nothing happens. Happy to correspond over email about the issues I'm having if it helps you update the extension to work again!
I do wish this were a default feature in Thunderbird! It'd be so wonderful if they incorporated this.

Thanks!
Update : I think I found the problem, look for b11
Definitely would like to get your issue resolved b10 should be a solid for mbox. would it be possible to go to the repository issues? it's important to track things there:
https://github.com/thundernest/import-export-tools-ng/issues/143
first thing to do is describe OS/TB versions and exactly what you are trying to do (source of e-mails et cetera)

Absolute disaster. Installed, ran, script crashed. Upon restarting Thunderbird all accounts/emails gone - unrestorable. Have lost several years of emails. This thing wouldn't let me submit without a star rating hence the one star.

That's very troubling, sorry for the issues.
Can we troubleshoot this in the repository?
I am not sure 'What operation you were doing when this happened.
If you post an issue we may be able to recover something

Hello Christopher, when will the Thunderbird 78 version be available? I updated before checking compatibility and, now, I would not go back. My Thunderbird is 78.1.1. Thank you for your contribution.
Forgive me, I've seen the comments below and I understand you're working on it. Your add-on is beautiful! I use it to back up my emails. It works much better than the thunderbird built-in backup, at least until version 68.
Domenico.

Export emails to csv is very valuable to me. It allows to maintain undelivered messages sent by notification system. CSV can be easy used in other program to search for unique addressee.
Extraordinary tool! Can't wait till new version is ready to install on 78 TB :)
