absolutely mandatory for me, indeed, but it's not being maintained as frequently, as we all desire

Oh my gosh!!! I am so glad that I searched for this again. After I upgraded to Firefox 3.0, I lost my favorite add-on. I have been suffering ever since! But my friend is back! This is such a time saver, and keystroke saver, and carpal tunnel reducer, and sanity saver. All you do is highlight text and it goes onto the clipboard, ready for you to paste it into your document. There's even an option to paste by clicking the center button on the mouse. It's so easy - nothing negative to say about it.

Well, the experimental version and even the earlier 9.1 version of AutoCopy don't work for me anymore. Guess I really am going to kill my profile now - since there is still no easy way to remove exts from a profile!!!

I've loved AutoCopy since day 1, but for whatever reason, it isn't working for me anymore. I just uninstalled FF - keeping all the private info - but it still doesn't work. that was after reinstalling AutoCopy & Copy Plain Text of course.
I wish FF would list add-ons in chronological order like they used to vs alphabetical so we could see what we installed last. ARGH!!! Time to wipe everything off...
CTRL-C is so IE!!!!!

SSIA, log in and download the experimental version 0.9.6 which works with the latest (3.0.6) version of the fox.

For those who use FF3.0.6, you can install the experimental version. It works for me. Man, I was going crazy already without this installed in my browser. Crtl+C is a lot of work. Great add-on

There is already an AutoCopy ver. 0.9.7 available on the developers' support website.
I think you guys better d/l that one rather than manually modify the addon.
