Thanks for reanimating this nice little Feature Addon
You only have to switch the Thunderbird Shortcut or Startup Shortcut to "start minimized" and everything works fine.

Dear developer, please add number of unread leters to tray icon

Well, the addon does as it says. If you minimize the window, it iconifies to the system tray.
The main problem is it needs to be reinstalled on each TB start, as it says it isn't installed, so an installation wizard appears, a TB restart is required and then, after two TB initializations, the addon works... until the next TB shudown. (Arch Linux Plasma)
Its pretty annoying for me restarting TB twice in order to make this work as I have to put my master password each time I start TB.
Besides the bug, it would be great some configuration options, like let the users specify if they want a single click, double click, or middle click to trigger the event, or let the tray icon visible even if the window is not minimized, so we don't need to search on the taskbar where TB is, and we can easily bring to front TB

Hi,
Add-On works most time like expected. Think there is one bug. If I change the Settings to open a mail in new Window not in new tab, the Window could not be closed, it minimizes also to trayicon. Full stars after correction ;-)

EDIT: Started working as expected once I installed another add-on, which upon restart opened a window asking if I wanted to install THIS add-on. Very strange, but now it's working perfectly. This seems like a Thunderbird issue and not a MinimizeToTray issue, so 5*
OLD REVIEW:
Not at all working in Thunderbird 60.7.0 32bit on Windows 10 x64
Thunderbird keeps saying it's not installed and asking me to restart even though it shows up in the add-ons section. Closing Thunderbird does not minimize it to tray.

You're an absolute saint for reviving this legacy extension for TB 60.

Je ne trouve pas les options, notamment celle pour minimiser à la place de la fermeture.
Bonjour, les options de cet addon sont dans Outils/Préférences des modules/MinimizeToTray Reanimated.

There one simple request. When it's minimized - simple click on icon could restore TB window.
For now I have to right click and then select restore in menu each time - complicated.
EDIT: I found that double click is working, BUT single click OR single middle click would be even better ;)
Hi, since the version 1.4.9 it should be ok:

The plugin works amazingly well! I was just wondering whether there is any way to show the number of unread messages on the icon. That would make it just perfect!

Why this addon doesn't autoupdate from Thunderbird??
And why it doesn't even appear on the thunderbird addon search engine?
Can't you make it compatible with Thunderbird Beta?
Hi, this addon is not auto-updated and not referenced because it is still not reviewed by addons.thunderbird.net.
It will probably not be, because its technology is outdated and will not survive to Thunderbird 68 scheduled for late 2019.
I plan a new addon for Thunderbird Beta (65+) that will include the features expected using the new technologies available.
The page of this addon and the GitHub repository will be updated accordingly.
